A Hereditary Angioedema Workshop was held on 20-21.06.2008 in Plovdiv. It was organised by the Hereditary Angioedema International and the Information Center for Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs. Issues on the the HAENET project in Europe and worldwide activities, HAE symptoms and diagnosis, the possibilities for treatment of HAE in Bulgaria, the set up of a HAE patient association were discussed. The meeting has been made possible by the generous support from CSL Behring, Jerini, Pharming and Sanquin CLB.
