The European register of clinical trials has been launched recently. It is an online register where users can find information on the design, the sponsor, the investigational medicinal products and therapeutic areas involved and the status of the clinical trial. It covers clinical trials in EU Member States and the European Economic Area and clinical trials which are conducted outside the EU/EEA if they form part of a pediatric investigation plan.
