On 20th of february 2006 a new orphan medicinal product was registered into the community register of orphan medicinal products under the EU orphan designation number 349. The active ingredient is Apomorphine hydrochloride (inhalation use) for treatment of off-periods in Parkinson’s disease not responding to oral treatment.
