11th Congress of Human Genetics

The 11th International Congress of Human Genetics will take place from 6 to 10 August 2006, in Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Australia. The International Congress of Human Genetics is the foremost meeting of the world human genetics community and is held every five years. The first Congress was in 1956 in Copenhagen and subsequent venues have included Berlin, Washington, Rio de Janeiro and most recently Vienna. The Congress is organised on behalf of the International Federation of Human Genetics Societies IFHGS and in 2006, the host will be the Human Genetics Society of Australasia HGSA.
