Conference focused on research on rare diseases in Brussels

A conference focused on research on rare diseases will be hold in Brussels on 13 September 2007. The aim of this conference will be threefold: to increase the visibility of rare diseases research and raise awareness of the Member States and European Parliament on the research needs in this area, thereby benefiting the rare diseases scientific community and more generally the people concerned with rare diseases; to provide the rare diseases community with the opportunity to express their needs in term of research; to provide the European Commission with a strong basis for future FP7 calls for proposals.
